Flat Top Mountain

Adria's mother flew up to visit us for a week and to help take care of Thomas. One of the things that we did was to take a hike up Flat Top Mountain, which is appropriately named as it bears a striking resemblance to a certain Dick Tracy villain.

Not far from the parking lot there is a viewpoint where you can look out over the Anchorage area. We stopped to take some pictures before we started on the trail up the mountain. And like every family portrait that we have taken to date, Thomas was asleep for it.

We didn't hike all the way to the top of the mountain, as we were getting tired and Thomas was starting to wake up and would want to eat, but here is a picture of the view from the trail
