Civil War 2004

Note: I recently had some computer issues that caused me to rethink how I was preserving some pictures and other items on the hard drive of my laptop. After some thought, I decided to use this blog to record some events that happened before this space was created. However, many of these events occurred before I met Adria so she isn't likely to appear in these posts. You can look at all of these posts by clicking this link here.

Here are some pictures from Oregon State's 50-21 victory in the 2004 Civil War.

Here are my buddies Brant and Henry:

During the 2nd half, Richard Siegler had a little chat with Derek Anderson. Siegler was probably congratulating D.A. on a good game.

This game is also known by some as "The Bill Swancutt Game", which I think this video explains the reasoning behind:

This also was the last game in Reser Stadium before they rebuilt the east grandstand and added a second deck. They had torn down the east grandstand before the season started and we had sat/stood on metal bleachers for the duration of the season. They also had started doing some prep work on the site over the course of the season. They had erected some giant pillars which can be seen in the picture below:

With about a minute left in the game, the fans started to get antsy and they started to get ready to rush the field. I went as well, because when a wave of people are coming down on you, it is often best to just go with the flow.

As Justin and I were walking off the field, we happened upon the table where the players Gatorade is placed. And since there were a few cups left, Justin had a celebratory cup of Gatorade.
